Creamy Peri-Peri Livers

A fantastic quick weeknight dinner sorted with this recipe for Creamy Chicken Livers!
Ingredients
500 grams Chicken Livers
1/2 cup Oil
1 x Onion, peeled & finely chopped
6 x Garlic Cloves
1 cup Your Choice Peri-Peri Sauce
1/3 cup Full Cream
1 pinch Salt
2 x Potatoes, peeled
1 tablespoon Butter
5 teaspoon Nou Gaan Ons Braai Mama Afrika Spice
Directions
- Potato Mash:
- Peel potatoes and cut into small pieces
- Bring water to boil in a pot and place potatoes into boiling water
- Continue to boil until potatoes are soft and drain out water
- Add in a tablespoon of butter and mix vigorously until a soft mash is formed
- Sprinkle Nou Gaan Ons Braai Mama Afrika Spice on top
- Mix well and add salt to taste
- Livers:
- Heat up oil in a frying pan
- Place chopped onions and garlic into the pan and fry until onions are translucent
- Add in livers and stir
- Fry on medium heat until the livers are firm and brown
- Add in Your Choice Peri Peri Sauce and leave to simmer
- Add in cream and mix well until a thick creamy sauce is formed
- add Salt to taste
